Who are the Married Authors?

Published authors Janet Elizabeth Lynn and Will Zeilinger had been writing individually until they got together and wrote the Skylar Drake Mystery Series. These hard-boiled tales are based in old Hollywood of the 1950s. Their latest novel STONE PUB is a thriller set in 1962 and takes the reader to Ireland. Between the two of them, they have published 18 novels plus a couple of short stories. Their world travels have sparked several ideas for murder and crime stories.

This creative couple lives in Southern California…and they’re still married!

LitCrawl LA 2017 in North Hollywood with Authors from Sisters in Crime LA

Sisters in Crime LA authors: Nancy Cole Silverman, Anne Louise Bannon, Laurie Stevens, Janet Elizabeth Lynn and of course Will Zeilinger rehearse their presentation before LitCrawl LA on October 25th.

The turnout was pretty good at BlastOff Comics in North Hollywood, especially when one considers the 100 degree temps and the second game of the 2017 World Series were the competition.

Married Mystery Authors Bring

Hard-Boiled Detective

to Albuquerque, New Mexico Bookstore

The Skylar Drake mystery series written by married authors Janet Elizabeth Lynn and Will Zeilinger have arrived at BOOKWORKS here in Albuquerque.

Set in 1955, SLIVERS OF GLASS, STRANGE MARKINGS, and the most recent novel, DESERT ICE feature Hollywood private detective Skylar Drake, a former LAPD Detective and Hollywood stunt man. Drake tracks down killers in these hard-boiled stories. The Skylar Drake mysteries have been compared in style to the work of Ross MacDonald with the feel of Hollywood in the fifties. Mystery fans will enjoy following Skylar Drake as he faces all sorts of obstacles in his quest to solve the crimes.
